No Reservations vs. No Reservations

I love Anthony Bourdain. I love Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Upon first hearing of the movie No Reservations, I had grand dreams of them co-hosting/co-staring in a feature length episode of Bourdain’s hour long cooking/travel/history show of the same title (aired 10PM ET, Mondays on the Travel Channel). Alas, no such luck.

Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans

With the upcoming release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (HP7 – $17.99 Hardcover at Amazon.com) just around the corner (July 21, 2007) – I find myself reminiscing over the series. 7 books, 7 years of life, love, and magic. Besides ridiculous cravings for robes, wands, and preppy uniforms – I have found that I rather want a bag of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans. Muggles can get them through Jelly Belly but should be forewarned of the special flavors: Pickle, Black Pepper, Booger, Dirt, Earthworm, Earwax, Sausage, Rotten Egg, Soap, and Vomit.

The movie based on the 5th book, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is out soon (July 13, 2007).

Ratatouille: Rat-a-too-ee

Disney + PIXAR = INCREDIBLE MOVIES (like, The Incredibles & Finding Nemo) – on June 29th their newish movie Ratatouille (Rat-a-too-ee) (on IMDB) will be out in theatres. You can view a 9-minute preview trailer on their website. It kinda reminds me of Freak The Mighty – except with a rat and a hapless youth, and set in Paris.
